Oatmeal Chocolate Chip MacroBar® Granola

Granola might be one of the most versatile snacks around. Eat it on its own, use it as a yogurt topping, or add it as a base for your smoothie bowl. However you prefer to eat it, we know you'll love this yummy MacroBar-inspired recipe!

Yield: 24 servings

Ingredients

  • 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 cup almonds, sliced
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup dried fruit of choice
  • 3 Oatmeal Chocolate Chip MacroBars, cut into small pieces

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except for the dried fruit and MacroBars.
3. Spread the granola mixture out evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until dried out and golden.
4. Allow the granola to cool before stirring in the dried fruit and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip MacroBar pieces. Enjoy with coconut yogurt and fresh fruit!
