GoMacro Receives Green Power Partnership Certification

GoMacro is proud to announce that we have joined the EPA's Green Power Partnership, a program that recognizes and supports the environmental leadership of businesses and communities across the country.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) established the Green Power Partnership in 2001 to help reduce pollution and the corresponding negative health and environmental impacts associated with conventional energy use. Since its inception, the Green Power Partners have used more than 45 billion kWh of green power annually - equivalent to using enough renewable electricity to power more than 4 million average American households for a year.

GoMacro was able to join the EPA’s GPP after successfully converting to using 100% renewable energy throughout our manufacturing process. The entire roof of the GoMacro facility is equipped with 844 solar panels, supplying the majority of the energy needed for production. We source the remaining 30% from local wind farms, and the sleeves we package our trays in, are also produced using 100% wind power.
