GoMacro Is Certified FODMAP Friendly!

GoMacro is pleased to announce that seven of our 15 MacroBar flavors have received the FODMAP Friendly certification, along with all six MacroBar Minis.

What does FODMAP stand for?

The acronym FODMAP is short for fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols. These six short-chain carbohydrates are resistant to proper absorption & digestion, causing digestive upset for those who are suffering from IBS and other auto-immune disorders.

Some of the most common FODMAPs include fructose, lactose, galactans (often found in beans), and sugar alcohols such as xylitol and sorbitol.

Why being certified FODMAP friendly matters?

We remain committed to providing our customers with plant-based nutrition that caters to various dietary restrictions.

FODMAP Certification

FODMAP Friendly is the only registered trademark worldwide certifying which food products are laboratory tested to be low in FODMAPs. It is designed to enable consumers who follow a low FODMAP diet to identify and select suitable food products that will provide them with optimal nutrition without digestive upset.
