Just wanted to let you guys know how much I have enjoyed
the bars I have purchased from Milwaukee's Health Hut! I
especially love the peanut butter bars. As someone who eats a
whole-foods, organic diet based mostly on produce, legumes and
grains (I was a strict vegan at one time while in college - a
Northwoods, hunting-tradition town where they looked at you
oddly if you asked for meatless spaghetti sauce - bad
timing.....), I really was glad to have found those nice,
long-lasting snack bars! I have always personally thought the
low-carb business was ridiculous, offering a willing and happy
trend to the meat and dairy industries, as well as a variety
of pure gimmicks.....(low-carb vitamins-hmmm...). A staple of
my diet are nut butters in particular, so you can see why I
would love the peanut butter products. Another principle of my
food purchases involves sustainable and local food, so it is
great to know you are so close. I have health conditions
(asthma and allergies), as do my two dogs (for whom I do a a
combination of raw/modified raw and home-prepared -NO KIBBLE),
so I appreciate the care and heartache involved in dealing
with health issues - best of luck to you!

the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip MacroBar and wow!=I loved
it immediately! Great taste, great texture, not too sweet,
very satisfying, and has lots of non-soy protein. Great
stuff, thanks! I think it will become my PowerBar
replacement now that Nestle has added Soy Protein Isolate to
their PowerBars.

After reading an article about you and MacroTreats on
ivillage.com, I was completely enthralled. Four years ago, I was
in a similar situation as your aunt. I was diagnosed with hodgkin's at 19 and then I didn't know about a macrobiotic diet
- my treatment had to start immediately, so there was little
time for me to research alternative ways of healing the disease.
So I opted for chemo and radiation. Now that I am healthy again.
I have been extremely cautious about what I eat because I also
believe that what we do to our bodies has a huge impact on what
out bodies do to us.
I have not completely adopted a macrobiotic diet, I have found
it very difficult, however, I am on my way and with the
discovery of MacroTreats, I think it will be much easier. Thank

My name is Liana and I am 12 years old. I'm writing to thank you
and tell you that I think your products are AMAZING! I have been
raised macrobiotic (with some exceptions) since I was born. I
really appreciate how you make things like cookies that my mom
actually lets into our house. I realize how hard it is for kids
who eat "regularly" to eat healthier, things that taste good are
so hard to resist! I sometimes have a craving for some kind of
sweet and your coconut and chocolate cookie (my favorite) helped

perfect for breakfast and post-workout. I love that they're
organic, have no refined sugars AND no dairy/no soy! Not an

Over the past ten years while living with Crohn's Disease and a
gluten intolerance, I have made numerous life style changes with
my diet to improve and maintain my health. Initially adjusting
to the dietary changes was difficult, especially while trying to
find foods to use while out rock climbing, hiking and
backpacking . Fortunately, I spotted the gluten free version of
the MacroBar at a local grocer, and instantly I was hooked. The
quality, convenience, taste, and nutritional value of the bars
