For a blog with the name MacroBuzz we have done very little buzzing this past year. There has been hardly a peep out of us since last March. We certainly hope to do better this year.

All of us, here at GoMacro would like to wish our many friends and customers a Happy New Year. We hope it will be prosperous and filled with good health for all of you.

2010 was a busy year for us. We receive many good ideas from our customers and, as a result of your recommendations we have converted all our bars to USDA Organic. They are all at least 95% organic and in some cases 100% organic. All the organic ingredients are still listed as organic in the ingredient list on the back of the package. When we started GoMacro some of the ingredients were not available in an organic form. The growing demand for organic products has made the production of organic ingredients more profitable and more widespread.

All our bars are also gluten free. We have been able to source organic gluten free oats from Gluten Free Oats in Powell, Wyoming. A family owned business that has experienced firsthand the hardships of celiac disease. As always our bars are dairy free and with one exception (Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip) soy free.

We have also become aware of the destruction of Rainforests as a result of the demand for palm oil. Forests are increasingly being destroyed to make room for palm oil plantations. We have substituted coconut oil and cocoa butter.

We are looking forward to meeting many more of our customers this year and we will continue to make improvements.
