Although I'm 82, I'm still feeling 52. I'm an exercise person, running or doing gymnastics daily. This Mocha Chocolate Chip bar is one of my favorite pre and post-exercise foods. I eat half of it prior to the workout and the other half afterwards. It has a great taste and a perfect mix of ingredients for a great workout. The half after the workout, taken with a beverage, gives me a quick recovery prior to the upcoming lunch hour.

This is my favorite bar. I love the mocha bits. I often cut this bar in half and rewrap the other half for another time—I extend the savor! During the gardening season, I take a break on my garden bench with half a bar and a cup of tea while I silently watch the insects, birds and critters explore the garden.

I have been eating these for breakfast for a few years now and still haven’t gotten tired of them. I love the softer texture and the flavor is great. The chocolate/coffee flavor is my favorite. It’s definitely more chocolate and the coffee is subtle. Sometimes I wish it was more coffee forward but I eat it with having hot coffee so it works with that. It gets expensive but I try to stock up during sales. I discovered it when I developed digestive issues and needed Fodmap diet. I’m much better now but still enjoy this bar for breakfast or a snack.

Although we LOVE so many of the GoMacro flavors, my husband and I enjoy the Mocha Chocolate Chip one the best (and for the record, my husband is not a coffee drinker so the coffee flavor is harmonious with the chocolate, not dominant)! We buy no less than three boxes at a time whenever we order -- so yummy!! Thank you GoMacro for great organic protein bars with no weird ingredients!
